lethargy
I don't know what to do today....I am without inspiration and with a sick baby. What do you do on days like that??

Is it sunny where you are? My still-drawn curtains are glowing with sunshine and I feel lethargic too thinking how I'll be spending the whole day inside again. I know nothing about mothering so I don't know if this is safe or realistic but if I had a sick little girl I'd take her outside and lie in the garden - shade or sun - all day and read stories.
From my office window I can see all the students 'revising' on the green backs next to the river Cam. Some of them are actually using frisbees and kites in their revision. I'm so envious of their freedom!
I hope your little girl gets well soon. I'm sure she will under your warm maternal wing. I bet you end up having an inspiring day together after all...
Yes it's been lovely and sunny here for days now....we do spend most of our time outdoors but when she's sick it's harder to keep her occupied in her tired and uncomfortable state. Fortunately I had a flash of inspiration after looking at jessica's blog again and seeing the light shine on the unicorn....I bought a big pot of bubbles and we played on the village green blowing bubbles and watching them float away in the sunshine....she's tucked in bed early now and hopefully lots of sleep will help.
bubbles in the sunshine - that sounds like a beautiful distraction for someone not feeling so well! Hope little girl is feeling better today.
