that's funny.... But you shouldn't be waiting... You should be preparing! These are your last few nights of sleep-filled nights (or are they- does baby get up much nowadays at night?).

You could be doing a stretching routine, relaxation routine, taking time for yourself to do things that you won't be able to do when the baby arrives... right?

Are you due any day now?

If only it was like a first pregnancy! baby bird is sleeping dreadfully at the moment - maybe the worst ever...I am sure it's because she is feeling unsettled and knows something is about to change. The first thing she says in the morning (at 4.30) is to see the 'baby in mummy's tummy hiding' and she falls asleep with her hands on my belly every night. Nothing to do with me.
As for taking time for myself - I kind of want to give it all to the baby bird while she can have it exclusively still and there's not much I won't be able to do with the new chick that I can with her. And anyway, I feel totally prepared and calm and relaxed - just impatient....
Am due NOW!!

bfdx is just nothing. I was trying to delete the account... this account seems to be attached to my gmail account, so I can't delete it. bfdx is just the expression of my frustration at being stuck with a blogger profile attached to this account. I might change it to 'haesel' eventually.

Anyway. You're attending to first-born-chick's needs as you wait to give birth to her competition... That's so typically perfect of you. *sigh*.

I'm glad that being a good mother is so personally rewarding for you. You have a lucky family.

Thinking of you my dear,

Haesel

If only I was perfect...and if only no news WAS good news. Still just the three of us on the outside....and am getting more impatient by the second! It would be good to birth this weekend (for a variety of reasons) as my husband is home for 4 days in a row. But it probably won't be 'til christmas....
I'm really well though, and fit, so everything is in place for things to go well. Bring it on!!!

wow! I saw Haesel the other day at the co-op and she said that your baby is due any day - what a beautiful time to be born. Our pink dogwood tree is glorious right now and spring is so lush and fragrant.

i'm sending you deep warm wishes through this passage - i picture you riding the waves and going into some new place of feminine wisdom.

call on the ancestors and grandmothers when you need them to help you . . . .

Robin, You're gorgeous. I wish I knew you other than over the internet...you always says such wonderful things that seem just right.
We're still waiting - but every day is just one day closer so it must be soon now. Baby bird was 'late' too so it's no suprise this one is hanging on for a bit longer than I'd like!
hopefully more news very soon....
