It must be hard to be a working mum - to be away from a child for even one day when every day is such an adventure, when something like riding on a bike is the most thrilling feeling in the world. I'm pretty sure I will be a working mum when I become one, but I can already start to empathise with the feeling of joy and excitement at having a little bit of time to hang out together and (re)discover the world.
It's been said before in these comments, but that is one cute baby bird you have there.
